Design Studio
A dedicated space for consultations, ideas, samples, & practical decisions.
Our design studio is based in the Blackhall area of Edinburgh, making it conveniently accessible for clients across the city and surrounding areas.
That said, we prefer to hold the initial consultation in your own home. This allows us to gain a clearer understanding of your space, natural light and how you use the rooms. During the visit, we listen carefully to your ideas, discuss your requirements, take measurements where needed, and offer expert guidance on fabrics, flooring, lighting, furniture, colours, styles and practical solutions.
To arrange an appointment, please use the contact page on our website, email info@aminteriors.co.uk, or call 07889 660494.
Please note: there is not always someone present at the studio as we are often out on site visits with clients. We kindly ask that you contact us in advance to book an appointment rather than dropping in so we can give you our full attention and have the right samples and materials ready for your visit.
*Free when a qualifying order is placed — see ourTerms & Conditionsfor details.
Our Process
A structured process that keeps the brief clear & decisions manageable.
Once your free* initial consultation is complete, Amanda will prepare and send you a clear preliminary outline of your brief. This helps ensure we have fully understood your vision before moving forward.
From there, we can develop the project with bespoke design boards and mood boards, curated fabric, wallpaper, and material samples, and detailed estimates for the proposed works.
This structured approach allows you to review options at your own pace, make confident decisions, and stay in control of your budget and timeline.
